How am I supposed to feel? Part 1 – Hollie’s Journey

In a personal account in a two-part blog post, a same-sex couple shares their unique experiences during their IVF journey. The process was fraught with anxiety due to the presence of fewer follicles than expected and fear of medical procedures. However, they successfully harvested seven eggs, all of which were fertilized. By day 5, two embryos were ready to be frozen, marking the end of one partner’s part in the process and the beginning of the other’s.
